Reiki and Religion

Reiki helps you heal spiritually as well as physically. It is not a religion by itself and neither does it conform or favor any particular religion. It is free from religious shackles and does not get bogged down by religious dogmas. It is pure energy meant to vibrate your body and soul.
Reiki is a Japanese form of spiritual healing whereby the practitioner places his hands above the person to be healed and passes on energy to him in order to cure him of his ailments, both physical and mental. It is spiritual in form and is not a religion bound by tenets and beliefs. It is positive energy.
One needs an open mind to receive positive energy and a readiness to heal. He or she should be prepared to receive the energy and not doubt its effectiveness. A person with narrow perspective cannot benefit from Reiki. Reiki is not confined to “gurus”. Any person of any faith and belief system can adhere to Reiki philosophy as long as he has faith in its efficacy.
Reiki transcends religious barriers. It reaches out to millions all over the world and heals people of different nationalities and religions. It does not discriminate. A person of any faith can be a Master and can heal people of other religious hues.
Reiki does not expect people to change their religions and neither does it expect people to practice certain beliefs. It is above all this. It promotes harmony and well-being of all individuals.
Reiki can be practiced and received by all and sundry. All you need is a willingness to receive its energy and to benefit from it. One should practice it without any reservations. A free mind is what one needs.
