Reiki and Yoga

Reiki and Yoga operate on the same plane. They are interrelated, in the sense, Yoga helps Reiki energy to flow well. Yoga provides a deeper understanding of Reiki.
Yoga is an ancient art and concerns itself with the union of the mind, body and spirit. It helps in the treatment of many ailments. It develops the spirit and helps in physical development as well.
Reiki is a Japanese system of healing, whereby the energy is passed on from the Master to the recipient by placing hands over the person to be healed.
Reiki-Yoga is a simple and powerful system that brings together the Reiki Healing System and carefully selected yogic postures to bring about physical, mental and spiritual well-being of a person. It has to be taught by a Master, that is by a regular practitioner, and cannot be learnt from books.
The yoga postures in Reiki-Yoga are called “asanas”, which stretch the body and calm the mind in the process. One need not specialize either in Reiki or Yoga in order to practice.
Yoga, Transcendental Meditation, and Reiki help in self-transformation. They help you in achieving your personal goals. They focus on self-mastery and power for the individual ego and promote the ethical self.
Both Reiki and Yoga help in eliminating alcohol, tobacco and drug addiction, which are of much concern in today’s modern life styles.
Reiki and Yoga, when combined, can help a person cope up with life’s problems well and will provide him the inner strength to face the challenges of life. Both will lead him to the path of enlightenment and enable him to discover himself and his potentialities.
